We have a choice of two boat trips offering excursions into the Moray Firth. The Mischief is a 2 hour trip that heads out looking for and often finding dolphins. We can also spot other wildlife like sharks, whales and porpoise and well as the local seabirds. Our Spirit cruiser travels through beautiful scenery taking in the Beauly Firth and the Black Isle while listening to tales of folklore and local history. If any wildlife does appear, your guide on board will provide an insight into the species and its behaviour. The Spirit runs four times per day and each trip lasts approx. 1 hour 15 minutes.
We cannot guarantee sightings of any animals on these trips.
You can now order gift vouchers directly from the Dolphin Spirit website. We even deliver them for you!
We opted to go for the Mischief Wildlife Experience and it was absolutely brilliant. Some of the views were breathtaking and on top of that we were fortunate enough to see multiple dolphins on our trip. The skipper Gus was also very knowledgable and enhanced what was already an amazing experience. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone local as well as anyone who is visiting the area.
– Thomas K. | TripadvisorJust back from an afternoon out on the water. The weather was mixed but the suites provided were excellent and kept us warm despite the Scottish wind and rain. It wasn't easy to find the dolphins in the choppy water but we did. It was great to see them up close, along with lots of sea birds. A fun day out.
– Nicholas M. | TripadvisorThe staff was really helpful and friendly, they have the facilities to accommodate disabled guests (toilet at the base, ramp onto the boat) so my partner was able to enjoy the experience. Really lovely experience would definitely recommend!
– Beth N. | TripadvisorWe had a fantastic morning out on the water with guide Tasha who was both informative and friendly. We booked the Dolphin Mischief rib boat and it was incredible - plenty of birds, seals, and a few porpoises/dolphins spotted too! We all had a great time and would highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to see some marine wildlife and the beautiful views from the rib boat itself! Thank you for a great time.
